[120125] BoyFriend collaborates with Puma for CeCi magazine!

Rising stars Boyfriend, teamed up with Puma for the February issue of ‘Ceci’ magazine.
The concept for the photoshoot revolved around the lively and refreshing image characteristic of young boys.
It’s said that the members of Boyfriend split up into two teams, ‘Refreshing Boys Team’ and the ‘Good Looking Boys Team’ and showcased their mischievous side, brightening up the atmosphere on set.
In addition to the colorful track suits and athletic wear, each of the members dons various styles of Puma backpacks that help us sense the carefree spirit of each member.

[NEWS] Boyfriend New Reality Program to follow SNSD and Big Bang!

An exclusive interview about a group that will be main artist of a new reality program, Boyfriend.

MNet’s new global project called, “Boyfriend’s W Academy”, become a new Kpop Wave’s fresh air to show a new style of curriculum with various challenge to pass for members.

“Boyfriend’s W Academy” made to boom up Boyfriend’s popularity through a reality show. Korean top group such as SNSD, 2PM, Bigbang, and 2ne1 who are very successful through this time that make Mnet preparing an ambitious program to make this year belongs to Boyfriend’s.

On the 1st episode of “Boyfriend’s W Academy”, will be an important part for members to learn foreign languages and physical activity through a few prepared tests. We can watch how the members struggle just to learn English, Japanese, and Thai languages with all their skills and funny reactions on each tests. As an addition, viewers will get an access to their dormitory live.

Mnet’s staff, “Through this program, we’ll say that music industry of Kpop itself get some self-pushed to be better each time,” it said, “Here, don’t ever wish you can see Boyfriend as a mature member after you watch this show, but just a growing up boys,”.

Meanwhile, “Boyfriend’s W Academy’s first airing will be on 13th of January at 18.00 on Mnet.

[News] Boyfriend says hello to Spring with ‘Vogue Girl’

Idol group Boyfriend are getting ready to usher in the Spring season with their latest pictorial for ‘Vogue Girl‘ magazine.
The boys departed from their typical uniformed look by rocking different styles. Jungmin channeled the ’80s with his loud neon colors, leather jacket, and leopard print pants. On the other hand, Youngminopted for a trendy bookish look, but made it playful by wearing knee-length shorts with a pair of high, colorful socks. Minwoo became the poster boy for a casual student look, and finally Kwangmindonned a cosmopolitan evening style but with a sequinned jacket.
After receiving the ‘Rookie of the Year‘ award in December of last year, Boyfriend has become an idol group coveted by both the music and fashion industries.

An “idol” singing group, Boyfriend, makes a surprise appearance in Love And War 2.
The episode of KBS 2’s Love And War 2 which airs on December 23 is a special feature for Christmas called, “‘Idols,’ My Love,” and Boyfriend which is also known as sweet, cute boyfrien-”dol” makes a surprise appearance.
The episode covers a story of a housewife who comes to know about an “idol” group, Boyfriend, and becomes obsessed with it, putting it in her top priority over everything—even her husband and daughter in middle school who often ignored her. The episode renders the story in an interesting way.
According to the production crew, Boyfriend is ready to attract many middle-aged female viewers with its sweet love song and cute looks.
The leader Dong Hyun, in particular, plays the leading role with the leading actress Choi Jung Won. His stable acting skills made the production crew build expectations over his further activities in acting. The episode airs on December 23 at 11:05 p.m.
